I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Raleigh, North Carolina. I received my Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and History from NC State University and my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from East Carolina University. I am a member of the North Carolina Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a Clinical Fellow with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, of which I have been a member since 2009.
During my training at ECU, I was afforded opportunities to do traditional therapy with individuals, couples, and families at the ECU Family Therapy Clinic. Additionally, I had the unique experiences of providing medical family therapy at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, where I primarily served cancer patients and their families, and at Greene County Health Care, where I provided mental health services as part of an integrated care team working alongside nurses, physicians, and other medical providers. After graduating from ECU, I began work in Raleigh in community mental health care where I served youth, adults, and families in a variety of roles including Intensive In-Home Team Lead, Outpatient Therapist, Intake Specialist, and Compliance Administrator. In 2014, I joined a small group practice so that I could return to providing traditional therapy services and in 2015 I opened my own practice where I’ve enjoyed working with adult individuals, couples, and families since.
